The Cuddy Stanes Circle

The farmer found these stones when digging drains with his JCB. Erected about 20 years ago.... The central stone does have a cupmark on it, whether these originally formed part of a circle (several are mentioned in the Statistical Accounts for the parish) is not known. The horses seem to like them, and use them as rubbing posts, hence the ridiculous name we gave it!
