Take the A94 east from Glamis towards Forfar, rom the A928 Dundee to Kirriemuir road. Approximately 1/3 of a kilometre from the junction, a small track with parking place is to the south of the road. Park carefully here, being careful not to obstruct the 2 gates. Take the track leading south-east, and about 200 metres in (slightly uphill all the way) you will see the stone inside its protective railings. It is about 1.5 metres tall, with a rather eroded Celtic Cross carved on the east face, and a serpent on the west face. Revisited 10th December 2002, in an attempt to get better photographs... the wood is very dark, and flash photography leaches out some of the details, but these photographs are the best I could manage! A beautiful Class 2 stone, well worth a visit!
